UBC President’s Staff Award

Each year the University of British Columbia (UBC) recognizes a maximum of two staff members in six categories for their contributions to the goals of the institution. I am proud to say that I was nominated and selected as award recipient in the category “Creativity & Innovation”. It is a great honor for me to receive this award.

I would like to thank all my colleagues at UBC who supported my nomination, especially my supervisor and friend Jenny Phelps who initiated the nomination, as well as the selection committee for considering me for this award.
